Protect yourself from data breaches  Every purchase is authenticated, by you alone Zero Liability® protection1
When you pay with a Digital wallet, the merchant where you pay only receives a single-use code – not your personal information or card details. This means, you’re better protected, as your card information won’t be compromised, even if the store or restaurant gets hacked. Your devices pin, fingerprint, or facial recognition software adds another level of protection. If your phone is lost or stolen, your mobile wallet can’t be used by someone else, unlike if you lose your wallet containing your physical credit or debit card. When you use your GECU debit or credit card with a Digital wallet app, you still have the same Zero Liability fraud protection you have when you use your physical card to check out.
